My favorite form of physical exercise is swimming. I started swimming when I was a young girl and my father taught me to swim in a lake close to home. I spent summers at the swimming pool while growing up.
Between childhood and my later years, I didn’t live close to a pool or water, so it wasn’t until my senior adult years when I once again got back to the pool when I joined the YWCA and recently the Kroc Center.
My next favorite exercise is walking. I walk a minimum of 6000 steps per day, but usually have over 10,000 by the end of the day.
