First impressions are the most important. How you present yourself in the various roles you play is important.

In a job interview, you need to do your homework about the company you apply to so you can answer the questions your prospective employer puts to you. Your appearance is the first thing your prospective employer will see before he or she continues with the interview. You need to show confidence in your appearance and attitude.

When you meet people for the first time, before you open your mouth, they will see your attitude. Is it friendly or do you appear rumpled so they don’t want anything to do with you? A friendly smile and a good appearance goes a long way to forming new friendships and lasting relationships.

Always be genuine. Let your outward appearance reflect your inner appearance. People can see through a false smile. Your body language speaks louder than your first words. People can even tell when something is wrong without you saying something, even those who don’t know you. Body language is everything. People will know you’re friendly and kind even on your worst days.
