If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

There are many historical figures I would like to meet, and will one day.

First would be Jesus. I can’t wait to see Him face to face when I enter eternity. Then I want to talk to Abraham and find out what he truly felt about God asking him to sacrifice his son, Isaac and how he felt when God told him not to and provided the lamb.

I would want to talk to Jesus’ disciples, especially Peter and John. I also want to talk to Paul. I want to know what it was like to be the first missionaries to the world, to write the gospels, to walk with and talk with Jesus every day. I want to talk to Mary and Martha and their brother Lazarus. I want to know his reaction when Jesus raised him from the dead.

I have so many questions for so many people. The list is endless for who I want to talk to and one day I will get the opportunity when it’s my turn to cross over into eternity and join the saints who went before.
