Daily writing prompt
Who are your current most favorite people?

You never know when you will meet that special someone who will change your life and make it better for knowing them. I have several such people in my life.

First, is Jesus my Savior. Growing up in church doesn’t give you more than a knowledge of Jesus or God. It wasn’t until I accepted Him as my Savior and Lord that my life changed for the better. Everyday is a new day with Him.

Second, is my friend Debbie. I first met her at Writer’s Guild. It wasn’t an instant friendship. Just like my relationship with Jesus, I needed to do something to enhance the friendship. I wanted to go on a vacation, but not alone. I asked her if she would go with me. We spent three days together and got to know each other and have been good friends since. There’s nothing either of us wouldn’t do for the other. Which proved itself recently when a family member passed away and I didn’t have a way to the funeral. She took me and I am so grateful she did. She told me that my family members also thanked her for bringing me.

Third, is Pam. I met Pam when she moved here shortly after I did. People who saw us together, thought we were sisters. We look very much alike. Pam is a wonderful Christian woman. She invited me to her lady’s Bible study. Through her friendship, I met many more amazing women who love God as much as I do. She is also a friend who will do anything she can for you. We’ve helped each other and our friendship continues to grow.

Fourth is my next door neighbor, Sarah. Sarah is a kind-hearted wonderful woman who has gone through many trials in her life. We help each other if possible.

Each person adds a layer of friendship to my life and enriches it beyond measure.

Proverbs 18:24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (NKJV)
