What is your favorite animal?

It’s hard to choose a favorite animal. There are both wild and domesticated animals to choose from.

For a domestic favorite, dogs are my all-time favorite. They are loyal and protective.

For wild animals, I have many options to choose from. First, though not always considered an animal, would be the whale because they breathe air like other animals. They show grace as they glide through the oceans of the world, and their acquatic displays bring a sense of awe and wonder.

Second, would be the chimpanzee. Their antics mimic those of humans and bring laughter to those who see them.

Third, would be the giraff and elephant whose size causes wonder in how they move gracefully among other animals.

Then, I would include the lion who by his mere presence commands the respect of animals and humans alike.
