My name is Valerie. It means bold and valiant.

The first time I looked up my name and found out what it meant, I laughed. I wasn’t bold about anything and certainly not valiant. I thought my parents misnamed me.

However, the day I accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, I grew into my name. I’m still an introvert, but I’m no longer shy. I’m bold with my faith and who I am in Jesus Christ. I’m not afraid to tell people about Jesus and what He did in my life. As for valiant: I show courage and determination as I walk out my faith every day.

I’ve always been a ‘what you see is what you get’ person. I still am. Though now, what you see is a woman of faith, bold and valiant in every respect of my name. I am a valiant warrior for Jesus Christ.
