Day 6 – God’s Glory
2 Chronicles 5:1 Thus, Solomon finished the work did for the house of JEHOVAH; and Solomon brought in the things which his father David had dedicated: the silver and the gold and the furnishings. He put them in the treasuries of the house of Elohiym.
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of JEHOVAH from the City of David, which is Zion.
3 Therefore, the men of Israel assembled with the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month. 4 Thus, the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark. 5 Then they brought up the ark, the tabernacle of meeting, and the holy furnishings in the tabernacle. The priests and the Levites brought them up.
6 Also, King Solomon, and the congregation of Israel assembled with him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered for multitude.
7 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of JEHOVAH to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 8 For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles. 9 The poles extended so that the ends of the poles of the ark could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. They are there to this day.
10 Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when JEHOVAH made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they had come out of Egypt.
11 It happened when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for the priests present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions), 12 and the Levites who were the singers, those of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets— 13 indeed, it happened, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking JEHOVAH, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised JEHOVAH, saying: “For He is good, for His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of JEHOVAH, filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of JEHOVAH filled the house of Elohiym.

God’s character:
Good
Merciful
Glorified
When people finish buildings and projects they worked on for a long time, they celebrate with everyone associated with the project.
Solomon finished building the temple and put everything in its place. Then he celebrated with everyone in Israel when the priests and Levites brought the ark of the covenant into the Most Holy Place. However, before the celebration began, JEHOVAH’S presence filled the temple with the glory cloud.
On one other occasion before this, did the glory cloud fill the tabernacle so that the priests could not enter the tabernacle until the glory cloud lifted.
Exodus 40:32 Whenever they went into the tabernacle of meeting, and when they came near the altar, they washed, as JEHOVAH had commanded Moses. 33 He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar and hung up the screen of the court gate. Thus, Moses finished the work.
34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of JEHOVAH filled the tabernacle. 35 Moses could not enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of JEHOVAH filled the tabernacle.
The Shechinah cloud of glory from JEHOVAH filled the tabernacle Moses built, and the temple Solomon built for JEHOVAH’S glory. When it did, nobody could enter JEHOVAH’S presence until He lifted the cloud.
When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, He filled you with His presence.
Many Christians don’t realize Yeshuwa’s presence lives in them. They believe they must work out their salvation alone. Yet they are not alone, not as long as Yeshuwa dwells in them.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christos.
9 For in Him dwells the fullness of the Theotes bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of every principality and power.
You have the entire Trinity dwelling in you, Pater, Huios, and Hagios Pneuma. You are not alone. You only need to call on Yeshuwa and He will take care of you and guide you in the way you must go.
Let His presence fill you as it did with Moses and Solomon when they finished building the tabernacle and temple. Let people see His glory in you as you walk with Him daily and trust Him to take care of you.
Let’s pray: Father, overflow me with Your presence. Let people see Your glory in me as I trust You with my life. Lead me, teach me, and show me what You want me to know. Fill me with Your knowledge as I study Your Word. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
