Day 10 – In His Presence
2 Chronicles 9:1 Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, having a great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about everything in her heart. 2 Solomon answered her questions; nothing was too difficult for Solomon that he could not explain it to her.
3 When the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, 4 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by which he went to the house of the JEHOVAH, there was no more spirit in her.
5 Then she said to the king, “It was a true report which I heard in my land about your words and your wisdom. 6 However, I did not believe their words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed, half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told to me. You exceed the fame of which I heard. 7 Happy are your men and happy are these your servants, who stand before you and hear your wisdom! 8 Blessed be JEHOVAH your Elohiym, who delighted in you, setting you on His throne to be king for JEHOVAH your Elohiym! Because your Elohiym has loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore. He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.”
9 She gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great abundance, and precious stones; there never were spices such as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
10 Also, the servants of Hiram and the servants of Solomon, who brought gold from Ophir, brought algum wood and precious stones.
11 The king made walkways of the algum wood for the house of JEHOVAH and for the king’s house, also harps and stringed instruments for singers; and there were none such as these seen before in the land of Judah.
12 Now, King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba everything she desired, whatever she asked, much more than she had brought to the king. Thus, she turned and went to her country, she and her servants.

Many people travel long distances to see and hear famous celebrities.
The queen of Sheba heard about Solomon’s wisdom and wealth and wanted to see it for herself. She traveled from Ethiopia to Jerusalem to see and talk with him. Solomon received her graciously and answered her questions and showed her the wealth of his kingdom. Her response to everything he told her and everything she saw overwhelmed her. She told Solomon only half of what she heard could account for everything she saw and heard.
Many Christians travel the world to see and hear famous evangelists and see the great sites of Israel where Yeshuwa was born, lived, died, and rose again. They want to experience the land and culture of Israel. When they do they return home amazed by everything they heard and saw. Their experience is much like that of the queen of Sheba who was amazed by everything she heard and saw.
Did you experience Israel? Did you walk where Yeshuwa walked? Did you visit the empty tomb? Did you return home amazed by everything you heard and saw?
One day every Christian will see and experience Israel when Yeshuwa returns for His church. Then the sights will amaze and delight everyone who will experience first-hand the amazing joy of being in Yeshuwa’s presence. It will be joy, inexpressible and full of glory.
When you immerse yourself in Yeshuwa’s Word, reading and studying, listening, and taking part in Bible studies and worship services, it won’t be the same as being in Israel, but it will be the next best thing. Then when the rapture happens, you will be ready for a new experience of His love and glory. Then you like those who went before you can bask in His presence and talk with Yeshuwa face to face.
Let’s pray: Father, I long to spend time in Your presence, talking with You face to face. Like the queen of Sheba, I have many questions, and I want to see everything in heaven. Fill me with Your presence. Let Your joy and glory be my delight. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
