The first thing I do when I get fantastic news is tell someone. I can’t wait to tell the first person I see, call, or text. I want them to share in the good news. I don’t want to keep it to myself.
I remember the day I accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. I couldn’t wait to tell my best friend the news. She was the one who showed me the path to God and His Son, even though I had been in church my entire life. I stepped out of religion into a relationship and wanted her and everyone else to know what happened to me.
I remember the day I became a mother for the first, second, and third time. I called family and friends to let them know I became a mother.
I remember the day I held my first book in my hands. I let everyone know I was an author and where they could buy my books.
My life has been full of good news. Every day I have the opportunity to change a bad situation into a fantastic one by my words and actions.
I can’t wait to see what fantastic news waits for me today. I know it will be a fantastic day.
