As my picture indicates, there is always something to be thankful about. Today is no exception.
- I’m thankful I woke up this morning. My Fitbit shows I got 5 hours and 17 minutes of good sleep. It might not seem like a lot or even enough, but I normally get between five and seven hours, so I did well.
- I’m thankful for a chiropractic appointment tomorrow. When walking the hallway to make my Fitbit goals, my back decided it didn’t like walking today. Not to worry, I’m still accomplishing my goals. With my head up, my neck aligned with my back, I can get two rounds of the hallway each hour. I have one hour left. I’ll get that in a few minutes and my Fitbit goals will be complete for another day.
- I’m thankful I went shopping today with my neighbor. I only needed a couple of items. I’m planning on making chili. I needed tomatoes. I also needed bananas, batteries, and lightbulbs.
- I’m thankful for friends and neighbors who make me laugh and show they care.
- I’m thankful the two gentlemen who went in the ambulance on Saturday morning are back. I talked to one of them during one of my walks around the hallway.
- I’m thankful for food. I just finished a delicious dinner – salmon and rice.
Okay, that’s my day today and all the reasons I’m thankful. Of course, there are a lot more than that, the little things we take for granted. I’ll write about those another day. Thanks for reading.
