Today started out with temperatures in the negatives for the air temperature. Not the wind chill. I didn’t venture out of the apartment.

That said, it was a good day. I have much to be thankful for.

I’m thankful for clean clothes. I knew when I went to bed last night I would need to do laundry this morning. The laundry room is directly across the hall from my apartment. I get it done early, before the time it says in the laundry room for hours. I know if I don’t get it done early, I won’t get an opportunity.

I’m thankful for the work I did on My Fairytale. My newest book. A friend who stopped over yesterday read it and told me she loved it. She was blown away by the story. That makes me happy. I just put it away for the night. I added another 2000+ words today.

I’m thankful for food and friends. I made tuna pasta casserole and shared it with my neighbor. It turned out very good.

I’m thankful the hearing clinic called today and told me they needed to change the appointment for tomorrow. I’ll go next Tuesday. It gives me the opportunity to go rock painting tomorrow. My friend will pick me up around 9 AM.

I’m thankful I have all my steps for the day. I didn’t do more than a lap per hour. I wasn’t as energetic as yesterday, but I still made my step goals.
