Today has been a fantastic day, not just a good day, but a fantastic day.

I’m thankful for the six hours of sleep I got last night. I woke refreshed and ready to start the day.

I’m thankful I could get three laps on the hall for the first two hours before I started watching Sammy.

He was mostly good today. I did need to clean up one accident, but all was good. My friend’s colonoscopy went well.

I’m thankful for the shopping I did with my neighbor after my friend got home.

I’m thankful I have all my steps. Walking around two stores helped that this evening. I already had all of them long before we went shopping. My total steps is 14,590 right now. That will change before I go to bed.

I’m thankful for the work I did on My Fairytale. It’s going great! I crossed the 10K word count line today. So, now tomorrow I will work toward 15k words. I made a couple of changes, but none in the first chapter I posted here.

I’m thankful for that absolute best mood I’ve been in in a long time. I’ve been so happy today and laughing. It’s been an amazing day.

I’m thankful I found cans of tomato sauce on sale that my friend loves and got it for her. I also shared a muffin with her for National Muffin Day. This is my friend who had the colonoscopy today.

I’m thankful for the text I got from my friend in Florida. She’s a snowbird. Her home is in Connecticut, but prefers to be away from snow in winter. She sent me a picture of the osprey that adores her and sings to her, shows off his catch when he fishes, and has introduced his offspring to her. She calls him Orville.

I’m thankful for the text I got from my brother. He had shoulder surgery on Tuesday. It went well. He’s planning to retire in June.

Okay, that’s my day. It’s been fantastic! It’s late. I should go to bed, but my phone needs charging super much, so I’ll be up until it’s charged.
