Today has been a very disappointing day. The temperature shot up to 50 F and the snow melted off my patio. We expect more of the same tomorrow, though not quite as warm. So ends the weather forecast. Very disappointing for people who love snow, like me.
Now onto what I’m thankful for today.
Other than the weather, it’s been a good day. It didn’t go according to plan, but I still had a good day.
My neighbor poked her head in early this morning and asked if I wanted to go shopping. I would say, Who doesn’t love shopping? but I know many people don’t. I happen to love shopping. She wanted to go to Hobby Lobby to get St. Patrick’s Day decor before it was gone. It almost was. However, I found a couple things, including a new hat in a beautiful green plaid for St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve been told I look great in it. I also found a craft project. I’ll take a picture of it when I get it put together. Then we went grocery shopping. I got a few things I still needed before the month ended and one thing I definitely didn’t need, a raspberry danish coffeecake. It’s gone now, so I won’t have it to tempt me tomorrow.
I arrived home to warmer weather than when we left and decided to go on the trail instead of walking the halls. The pond trail I enjoy in summer looked interesting in winter with the pond frozen.

I’m thankful for the outdoor exercise. It was refreshing, slightly chilly with the wind, but enjoyable.
I’m thankful for the work I did on My Fairytale today. I have well over 15K words, so my goal tomorrow will be 20K or at the least 17K. I finished chapter 7 a few minutes ago.
I’m thankful my neighbor can take me to my hearing appointment tomorrow. Things got crazy when I realized I might not get there tomorrow with everyone having things going on at the time I need to be there. A compromise has been made and all is well. (Thumb’s Up emoji)
All in all, it’s been a very good day. I got a lot accomplished, including laundry at 5:15 this morning. I have so much to be thankful for every day. Thank you for spending time with me reading about my day. I hope you had something to be thankful for also. The image belongs to me of the pond on the trail.
