Good evening. It’s a warm 56 F after sunset in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA on this first day after Daylight Savings Time turned our lives forward once again.

It was a good day today, for which I’m grateful. I did everything I needed to do, even spent time with you. I didn’t get through all the notifications, but I will. I want to read your posts and comment when something touches my spirit.

I walked outside today on the pond and wooded parts of the trail. It was beautiful in its starkness.

There’s even less snow now on the trail.

It’s National Napping Day and I did my part. I got about 50 minutes of sweet slumber before I walked the trail.

I worked on Firestorm. I had a good reading yesterday with my friends. One friend offered valuable feedback. I have my work cut out for me as I decided not to post anymore and work on it to publish in the future. I got the first two chapters fleshed out with more descriptions of the planet.

My friend who listened to the story yesterday suggested a movie, Forbidden Planet. I found it on Tubi and watched it with my next-door neighbor. It was good.

Today was also a struggle. I had an unwelcome visitor last night. One I never expected to see again. He’s good at tall tales – lies, and he suckered me down his primrose path to the point where I accepted what he told me, until I talked to my younger son today and found out the truth of the matter. In my defense, I have and always will love him. I just can’t have his poison in my life. The good thing about the visit is that I saw my granddaughter and have a picture of her with me. It’s just too bad she’s an innocent victim of his homespun lies.

Okay, that’s my day. Tomorrow will be super busy with Bible study in the morning and getting my new hearing aids fitted in the afternoon. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
