I apologize for not bringing my thankful post last night. It was a busy day filled with so much to be thankful for.
Happy belated St. Patrick’s Day to all those Irishman for a day and those who are Irish by ethnicity.
I’m Irish. My mother was half Irish and half French. I love St. Patrick’s Day. I make it a point to do it up green in the best way. This year was no exception.

I made the display on the table in the hall. It added to the joyfulness of the day.
So, what made me thankful yesterday? I’m thankful I could enjoy the day with my friends. I made the traditional corned beef without cabbage but with potatoes, carrots, and onions in the crock pot. It turned out fantastic! Both my friends exclaimed over it. I only had a small piece of corned beef left with a full bowl of veggies. And I thought I would have enough leftovers for the rest of the week. NOT!
I’m thankful for texting my children and granddaughter to wish them a Happy St. Patrick’s Day also. I got replies back from two out of three. My younger son rarely replies. My daughter and granddaughter always do. I love the connection I have with them. It gives me a sense of love when I start my day. I still need to send out the text this morning.
I’m thankful for an easy cleanup last night. I don’t always run the dishwasher every day, only when needed. Yesterday, I needed to with all the dishes I used for the meal and the mess I made making it.
I’m thankful the scale looked good yesterday morning. I can’t guarantee this morning, but I’m hoping.
Okay, that’s a look at yesterday and why I was and am always thankful. I don’t know what God has in store for me today, but I’m grateful for what He will do and the blessings He will provide today.
Thanks for reading. What are you thankful for? I would love to know in the comments below. The image belongs to me.
