Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s currently 32 F at 9:27 PM.
It’s been a good day, quiet for which I’m thankful.
I’m still battling this cold, and yes, it’s a battle. I asked my neighbor to go to the store for me for oranges, orange juice, and bananas, bread and potatoes too. I’m thankful for her help. Right now I feel like I turned a corner on this cold. I had a large glass of orange juice. I don’t know if I want to feel better or if I am feeling better. I’ll know tomorrow.
I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm this morning. It wasn’t much, but sometimes just a couple of paragraphs can get everything moving. I know this cold has me unable to work on the computer. I’ll be glad when everything is back to normal.
Did you know it’s J.R.R. Tolkien day? I have the books, and I tried to read The Hobbit, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be, so I watched the trilogy. Yes, all three movies. I just put them away. I’m considering watching The Lord of the Rings tomorrow.
I’m thankful for the nap I got today. Over an hour of necessary sleep. I was awake at 2 AM this morning. I went back to bed at six and again at 1 PM. My phone woke me up, but I couldn’t answer it. After several tries, I found out my hearing aids are linked to my phone. As soon as I put my hearing aids in, I could talk on the phone. That’s a new one on me. I’m thankful I got it figured out.
Okay, that’s my day. I drank a full 12 cup pot of tea along with the large glass of OJ. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better and I can be here more than I was today.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
