Most people don’t understand God’s love for them.
When people live with abusive family members, see a society that treats them as though everything they say and do doesn’t matter, it’s hard to believe God loves them.
Many of these same victims of abuse, also grew up going to church and hearing the acolades of God’s love. They even pray, but they don’t mean what they pray because they don’t believe God hears them when nothing changes in their lives. How can they believe God loves them when the abuse continues? How can they believe in a God who cares when nothing changes?
When you sit back and allow evil to grow and fester in your life, you will never believe God loves you. It’s only when you read and study God’s Word, and take the step to believe He loves you that you will see how much God loves you. Then you will see change in your life. You can see the steps necessary to make those changes. It begins when you accept God’s love and make the change in yourself first.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJV)
It takes faith to believe and make the changes and understand God’s love for you.
