What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

The first thing I do every morning when I get up is my Bible study. Spending time in Bible study sets the tone for my day. It makes the day brighter, smoother, and much more wonderful than a day without Bible study could possibly be.

That’s not to say that every day is perfect and nothing ever goes wrong. Life doesn’t work like that. However, when I spend my first moments with God, I know who will take care of my problems and offer solutions I could not come up with on my own.

Along with Bible study is prayer. When I join those two things together at the beginning of my day it’s a day in harmony full of God’s blessings. There’s nothing like giving Satan the one-two punch at the beginning of the day and giving him notice, then watching God work on my behalf as the day progresses.
