Family is everything to me. Not once while my children lived close to me and they needed me to watch the kids did I ask for money from them. When they asked anything from me, I always gave freely. You can’t put a price tag on family.

I feel the same with my friends. Friendship shouldn’t come with a price tag. When my friends ask me to watch their dogs, I do it. No money changes hands. I even get a reply: Are you sure? Yes, I’m sure. I’ll watch your dogs, I’ll do what you ask from me.

Life is too short to have money come between family and friends.
