Chance encounters happen every day. Every friend was once a stranger. People you meet for a few days and never see again bring substance to your life in unimaginable ways.
You never know the impact a person will have on your life until you take that one leap of faith and go to an event that could change your life for the better.
In September of last year I went to a 50+ Christian Retreat. It was the best three days of my life to date. I heard many wonderful speakers including the woman above whose teachings left me hungry for more.
No, I don’t remember her name, but I remember the teachings. I also remember the fun I had with other chance encounters and friends who attended the event.
I first met Rita at the Bible study I go to on Tuesday mornings. I didn’t know she would be at the event in September. We had a wonderful time for those three impactful days.
Every friend started out as a stranger. They are the best encounters and ones you need to cherish. You never know the full impact they will have on your life.
