Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently it’s 43 F and feels like 35 F. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

I’m thankful for a wonderful Easter celebration with my son and his girlfriend and my neighbor. We ate at 5 PM last night. I served lamb, asparagus, potatoes with sour cream and garlic. My neighbor brought a bowl of fresh fruit and deviled eggs. I also had an angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream for dessert to celebrate my son’s birthday, which was Friday.

Today, I’m thankful for eight hours of blessed sleep. I was on my feet most of the day yesterday so a good night’s sleep was a total blessing.

I’m thankful for the steps I got walking the hallway. It was a rainy day, so no walking outside.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. I’m caught up, so tomorrow I start writing again.

I’m thankful I called Social Services this morning to get my interview done so I can continue to receive FoodShare. My benefit went up a little bit, but every little bit helps with the price of food these days.

This week I will be staying home. Plans for going to celebrate my friend’s birthday on Friday were also canceled when we realized where Olive Garden is located. You might have heard what’s happening in Green Bay, Wisconsin this week. In case you haven’t we have the NFL Draft taking place. Olive Garden is right in the heart of the madness.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. The images belong to me. The top photo is my son and his girlfriend. The bottom one is my neighbor and my son’s girlfriend along with the food from dinner.
