Life is a risk. You never know how it will turn out, especially when you say ‘I do’. You hope it will be for life. You’re taking a step you never took before. You know how it was with your parents and grandparents and hope you made the right decision.

For me, it wasn’t the best decision I made. Was the risk worth it? Yes and no. We had three children, but love was missing. I wouldn’t trade the experience. I love my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. However, 21 years after saying I do, a not was added to the end of that vow.

I do not regret the divorce. I do not regret my life since the divorce. I don’t even regret my marriage. I only regret it was a loveless marriage. We were two people who never synced.

Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
