Good evening from a pleasant Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently it’s 49 F. It was in the mid 50s today.

Today, I’m thankful for first responders. I went for my walk on the trail today. However, before I got to the trail, I tripped on a curb and did a face plant onto the sidewalk. I was down and I couldn’t stand back up. I have two artificial knees and I just can’t get up when I’m down like that. So, after watching traffic for a while and getting no help as I sat conspicuously on the sidewalk, I called 911 and had the fire department out to help me get on my feet again. It was embarrassing to say the least and the only injury was to my pride. I did my face plant where you see the red trailer in the picture. There’s a bar right there.

I’m thankful I could still take my walk on the trail and got a total of 8000+ steps and 50 heart points. So, you see I’m fine, for which I’m grateful.
