Day 101 – KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
Psalm 2:1 Why do nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against JEHOVAH and against His Mashiyach, saying, 3 “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens will laugh; JEHOVAH will hold them in derision.
5 Then He will speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure, 6 “Yet I set My King on My holy hill of Zion.”
7 “I will declare the decree: JEHOVAH said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You will break them with a rod of iron; You will dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”
10 Now, therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve JEHOVAH with fear and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are those who put their trust in Him.

God’s character:
Vengeful
Faithful
True
Do you know people who take pleasure in making life difficult for others? They plot how they will destroy them.
This is one of David’s Messianic psalms. You see three things in this psalm.
- You see JEHOVAH’S derision, His laughter at people’s plot against Him.
- You see Him set up His Son, the Mashiyach in Jerusalem, His holy hill, Zion.
- You see how you should fear – stand in awe of Him and rejoice with trembling.
When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, you recognized Him as the Mashiyach, JEHOVAH’S Son. You also realized no one could plot against Yeshuwa because JEHOVAH will take vengeance on anyone who comes against Him.
When Yeshuwa died and rose again the third day, He promised to return and sit as King in Jerusalem.
Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Logos of Theos.
14 The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Pantokrator Theos.
16 He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (BASILEUS OF BASILEUS AND KURIOS OF KURIOS)
Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea.
2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Theos, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of Theos is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people. Theos Himself will be with them and be their Theos.
4 “Theos will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make everything new.” He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
At Yeshuwa’s baptism, Theos announced from heaven that He was His beloved Son.
Mark 1:9 It happened in those days that Iesous came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
10 Immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Pneuma descending upon Him like a dove.
11 Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
You can only stand in awe of Him and rejoice when Yeshuwa sits as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS when He returns to sit on His throne in Jerusalem.
Let’s pray: Father, I stand in awe of You, rejoicing in my salvation because You are KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. You are my King forever and always. Let my praise come into Your throne room in heaven and mix with the praise of Your holy angels. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
