Day 104 – Faith
Psalm 5:1 (To the Chief Musician. With flutes. A Psalm of David.) Give ear to my words, O JEHOVAH, consider my meditation.
2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my Elohiym, for to You I will pray.
3 My voice You will hear in the morning, O JEHOVAH; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.
4 For You are not an Elohiym who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor will evil dwell with You.
5 The boastful will not stand in Your sight; You hate workers of iniquity.
6 You will destroy those who speak falsehood; JEHOVAH abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7 However, as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; in fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
8 Lead me, O JEHOVAH, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face.
9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Pronounce them guilty, O Elohiym! Let them fall by their own counsel; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they rebelled against You.
11 However, let those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.
12 For You, O JEHOVAH, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.

How do you react when you see people behaving badly? What do you do when you see people treating those things you cherish and believe in with dishonor? In the name of ‘Freedom of Speech’ they say things that cause your heart to weep. What do you do when you see people destroy buildings, monuments, lives, the flag?
David saw wickedness everywhere he went. He prayed and asked Elohiym to consider his prayers and act against the workers of iniquity. He asked JEHOVAH to pronounce them guilty. He took his petition to Elohiym. He asked Elohiym to act with justice because he knew JEHOVAH would not tolerate wickedness, nor would allow evil to dwell in His presence. David declared his position in JEHOVAH. He would trust Him and remain faithful. David would go to Elohiym’s house and worship Him along with everyone else who trusted JEHOVAH.
As Christians, you see Yeshuwa maligned, His churches burned, His people killed. Do you pray as David did for Yeshuwa to act on behalf of His people, to destroy those who want to kill and destroy everything Elohiym’s people do? Do you weep when you see Satan act against everything you believe?
You hear it every day on the news. You see it as you walk through your streets. Wickedness is everywhere because Satan is alive and well in the hearts of those who want to destroy you and your faith.
Now is the time. Now is the hour for you to rise against Satan and declare that you will not back down in your beliefs. You will not allow him to destroy your children, marriage, extended family, friends. It’s time to pray. Pray believing Yeshuwa will act on behalf of His saints.
Yeshuwa told the people what Satan’s plan against them is, and He told them what He came to do.
John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (NKJV)
When you study Elohiym’s Word and act on it, believing He will defend you and be your shield in times of trouble, He will act on your behalf. You must believe without doubt. You must have faith in what He promised. Don’t only say things with your mouth, but your heart isn’t in it. Satan takes doubt and turns it to his purpose. You need to believe every word Elohiym promised in His Word. Then you need to pray as David did. He never wavered from his faith that Elohiym would act on his behalf. David saw Elohiym’s hand in everything he did because he trusted Him.
Put your faith to the test. Pray without doubt that Yeshuwa will answer you. Trust Him to act on your behalf. Then watch Him take care of wickedness in every sector of your life.
Let’s pray: Father, give me faith to believe in Your promises. Help me trust You and Your Word when I see Satan acting against Your people. Let my prayers come before You, knowing You will act on behalf of Your people. Let me declare my faithfulness to You as David did, and watch You act on my behalf. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
