Since I retired, I am more active than I was while I worked. I have time to do what I want, which means going swimming when I can, Bible study at my friend’s church on Tuesdays and Wednesday here, rock painting on Wednesdays, playing Canasta with the ladies on Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are the only days of the week I don’t socialize, not counting weekends. Those days I leave free for any appointments I need so I can take part in the above activities. My days are full, something I didn’t think would happen when I retired.

When I worked, I didn’t have time to do what I wanted. Now that I have the time, I’m rarely home or in my apartment. I keep myself busy and my brain active. I plan to live a good full life. God willing.

What is your community involvement like? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. The Kroc Center where I swim.
