Day 110 – Trust
Psalm 11:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.) In JEHOVAH I put my trust; how can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”? 2 For look! The wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow on the string, so that they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart. 3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 JEHOVAH is in His holy temple, JEHOVAH’S throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. 5 JEHOVAH tests the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates. 6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals; fire and brimstone and a burning wind will be the portion of their cup. 7 For JEHOVAH is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.
God’s names:
JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
Yeshuwa – Jesus
God’s character:
Righteous
Judge
Do you panic when people come against you to destroy you and everything you represent? Or do you have confidence in yourself?
David trusted JEHOVAH in everything. When wicked people came against him and tried to destroy and kill him, he turned to JEHOVAH for help. He knew JEHOVAH would help him.
Many Christians panic when Satan comes against them, forgetting their hope is in Yeshuwa. Many times, it isn’t until things get bad that they remember who fights their battles. Satan will do everything he can to destroy you and the work Yeshuwa gave you. He will tell you to flee like a bird and not turn your situation over to Yeshuwa. You only need to say the name of Yeshuwa and Satan will flee.
Don’t let Satan cause you to panic when he comes against you. Call on Yeshuwa right away and He will turn your trouble into a blessing.
Remember what Joseph told his brothers when they came to him after their father died.
Genesis 50:15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for the evil which we did to him.” 16 Then they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, 17 ‘Thus you will say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the Elohiym of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him. 18 Then his brothers also went and fell before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
19 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of Elohiym? 20 As for you, you meant evil against me; but Elohiym meant it for good, to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. 21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Then he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
Satan only intends to harm you. When you remember to call on Yeshuwa, He will bring you out of every trouble and turn your trouble into joy because He fights your battles.
What stands in the way of your blessing? What troubles do you face? Turn them over to Yeshuwa and watch Satan flee and rejoice in your salvation.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for this reminder that I can call on You and You will save me out of every trouble Satan brings against me. Let Your name be on my lips when Satan attempts to harm me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
