Day 112 – Trust

Psalm 13:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.) How long, O JEHOVAH? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? 2 How long will I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? How long will my enemy be exalted over me? 3 Consider and hear me, O JEHOVAH my Elohiym; enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; 4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him”; lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved. 5 However, I trusted in Your mercy; my heart will rejoice in Your salvation. 6 I will sing to JEHOVAH, because He dealt bountifully with me.

God’s names:

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Elohiym – Supreme God

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Character:

Merciful

Savior

Everyone goes through times of trouble that seem never-ending and wonders when they will see good times again.

David is no different. Trouble followed him wherever he went. With the constant trouble, he asked JEHOVAH when the trouble would stop, and he would see Him working in his life again. However, he never gave up hope. He continued to trust JEHOVAH and sing praise to Him.

Sometimes as Christians, you feel like Yeshuwa has forgotten you. Satan brings unending trouble, and you only want it to end. Do you quit seeking Yeshuwa for answers or do you continue to trust and praise Him as David did?

It isn’t wrong to question Yeshuwa as David questioned JEHOVAH. It’s not wrong to wonder when your trouble will end. What is wrong is when you stop trusting Yeshuwa to come against Satan and the trouble you face. Remember Job? He never wavered in his faith that JEHOVAH would heal him and take away the constant pain he felt from the trouble Satan brought against him. You need to do the same. You need to trust Yeshuwa. You will see the end of your trouble. You need to keep praising Him because He is your Savior. When you do, you will see blessing and victory in your life.

What troubles do you face? Seek Yeshuwa, pray, praise, trust, and believe. When you do, you will see victory in your life.

Let’s pray: Father, You know the trouble facing me. You know how long Satan has come against me to trouble me and make my life miserable. Help me seek You every day and never give up until I see Your answer. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
