Day 113 – Words
Psalm 14:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.) The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohiym.” They are corrupt, their work is abominable, there is none who does good. 2 JEHOVAH looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek Elohiym. 3 They turned aside, they together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one. 4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call on JEHOVAH? 5 There they are in great fear, for Elohiym is with the generation of the righteous. 6 You shame the counsel of the poor, but JEHOVAH is his refuge. 7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When JEHOVAH brings back the captivity of His people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

Fools are easy to find. They only need to open their mouths for you to know them.
Proverbs 18:7 A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
Psalm 53:1 (To the Chief Musician. Set to “Mahalath.” A Contemplation of David.) The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohiym.” They are corrupt and have done abominable iniquity; there is none who does good.
Romans 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after Theos. 12 They turned aside; they become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.”
13 “Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they practiced deceit”; the poison of asps is under their lips”; 14 “whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 destruction and misery are in their ways; 17 and the way of peace they have not known.”
18 “There is no fear of Theos before their eyes.”
David opened this psalm with a description of fools; what they said, what they did, and a description of the person who trusted JEHOVAH.
David then prophesied for the salvation of Israel to come to the captivity of Jacob and Israel. During David’s lifetime and for many years to come, Israel and Judah would not know captivity until JEHOVAH sent them into captivity to Assyria and Babylon because they continually sinned against Him by worshiping idols.
What kind of Christian are you? When you open your mouth do people see you as wise or as a fool? Fools speak without thinking or understanding.
Before you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, you were a foolish person without understanding or wisdom. Then the Hagios Pneuma got hold of you and you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord.
1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved Theos, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
You show yourself righteous when you put your faith and trust in Yeshuwa, to live according to His purpose. Then your words will be tempered with grace, and love will be on your lips.
Do your words show you belong to Yeshuwa or do people mistake you for a person of the world who doesn’t know Yeshuwa? Do you live in captivity to Satan, or does Yeshuwa live in your thoughts and in your mouth?
Let David’s prayer be your prayer when he said: Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O JEHOVAH, my strength and my Ga’al.
People know who you are the moment you open your mouth. Let them know you belong to Yeshuwa.
Let’s pray: Father, let me be counted among the wise people because I love You and I speak only what’s right in Your sight. Let my words always show me as Your child wholly committed to You. Let my words and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
