Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently it’s 76 F. The temp is falling. It’s getting ready to storm. Our high that I noticed was 82 F.

I have so much to be thankful for today.

I’m thankful for a full night’s sleep. Not sure how much I got, but it was at least 7 hours and perhaps 8 as I got up at 5:45 this morning. Late for me, but it worked out.

I’m thankful I made guacamole this morning. I’ve had the hard avocados sitting on the counter for three days. Today is the third day. It was perfect timing. I didn’t leave any of the meat in the avocado skin. I also made more than I planned on. I gave some to my friend down the hall. She loved it and of course added some additional spice to it as she likes things spicy.

I’m thankful I could talk my friend into walking again today. It makes three days in a row. She doesn’t do the whole walk with me, only a short distance as she gets used to walking. I walked two sections of the trail and got 9K steps by the time I got back to the apartment. I’m over 11K right now.

I’m thankful I made a pot roast today and got it ready before I headed up for Canasta in the third floor lounge. My partner and I won both full games and the first hand of the third game. I think I have bragging rights. The cards just came our way.

I’m thankful I could go to the grocery store with my neighbor. I was getting low on fruit. Hopefully I have enough now to see me to the end of the month. I’m looking forward to weighing myself on the first of June to see how well I did on this diet. I’m guessing I’m doing well. I’m not even craving sweets, which is a good thing.

Okay, that’s my day. No time for writing today. The storm is about to start. So, time to get off the computer.
