I don’t need to do a balancing act these days. I’m retired from the work force. However, it doesn’t mean my work is finished. My goal was always to retire and spend the rest of my life writing books and publishing them.
Since I have nothing to juggle, I am doing just that, when I’m not playing games on the computer or spending time on this blog site seeing how you juggle work and home life.
My balancing act comes from my social life. There are days when I don’t write as much as I would like because I’m rock painting, going to Bible study, or sitting in a chair at the hospital getting an infusion. I also spend an hour plus per day walking either on the trail, weather permitting, or in the hallways. All of these activities work my brain, not the infusion, so I can write better when I get back to the computer.
My current novel, Firestorm, is coming along well. I also want to find time to work on Faith to Believe so I can get it published this year. We’ll see how it goes.
How busy is your life? What does your balancing act look like? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. My computer desk shortly after I got it and set it up. It’s second hand. It will soon be history.
