Good evening from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin. It’s 45 F and it has been raining since noon. It’s not expected to stop until the weekend. Do you think I’ll need a rowboat?
It’s been a good day. It didn’t start out that way. Truth be told, I was feeling mighty depressed with the hoof and mouth disease I got myself into Sunday and yesterday.
I’m thankful my neighbor forgave me for saying things that put a rift in our friendship. Forgiveness is healing.
I’m thankful I went to Bible study this morning. I almost didn’t, but my friend talked me into it and I’m glad I went.
I’m thankful for friends who remain friends even with all my faults. I’m wearing a shirt today that says: Not perfect – Just forgiven.
I’m thankful for the few paragraphs I added to Firestorm. I’m also thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe. I still plan to publish it this year.
I’m thankful that this is day 20 of my diet and I haven’t cheated. My neighbor told me she can tell I’m losing weight. I won’t know the results until June 1st. Though I plan to stay on the diet until my birthday.
I’m thankful for my sister. I talked with her for an hour this afternoon. We caught up on everything.
Okay, that’s my day. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. The image belongs to me. It’s always good to have a grateful heart. A grateful heart leaves no room for negativity. Thanks for reading.
