Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin. It’s 52 F. We need the rain, so I’m not complaining.

Today has been a fantastic day. I have much to be thankful for.

I’m thankful for the e-mail I received from KDP this morning. I got a notice for the largest royalty I’ve gotten in a long time. Double digits before the decimal point. πŸ₯°πŸ‘

I’m also thankful for the gentleman I met in the hallway this morning while I was doing laundry. He told me he finished my book Legacy, his wife purchased for him at the Winter Market earlier this month. He told me it was ‘legend’. I couldn’t contain the smile on my face. 😁He also told me he has his eyes on the next book, Scarred. I’m over the moon. πŸ₯³

I’m thankful I got the laundry done this morning, early, as usual.

I’m thankful for the shopping my neighbor and I did. She wanted to go to the thrift store. I decided to get rid of a large bag of clothes I’ve had in my closet for the past four years. She also found clothes she wanted and needed, and I got a couple of candle stands. Yes, that is my poinsettia still doing well, though most of the red petals are gone now.

We also went grocery shopping. I needed bananas and other fruit, produce, and tuna. I also picked up a couple of ready made salads. I almost thought I left one of the salads behind at the store, but my neighbor found it in the car when she got home from her own shopping after she dropped me off.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm today. I confess I used a little AI help, but I’ve already made it mine with my words instead of the canned words AI uses. I read it to my friend down the hall and she LOVED it.

It’s truly been a wonderful day. I only need to remember today is Wednesday because it’s not the normal Wednesday where I alternate rock painting with Bible study. They canceled rock painting at the ADRC today because they had a special cultural lunch today and needed the room with all the people who made advance reservations for the luncheon. I need to remember because I have prayer at 6 tonight and I’m the head of it.

Okay, time for me to get off the computer and give my leg a rest. It gets sore in the upper right thigh near the hip when I do a lot of walking, and I do that every day. It’s hard to sit. I’ll probably put the heating pad on it while I watch television.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The images belong to me.

I’m here in Northern Illinois and I’m also thankful for the much needed rain. I’ve been praying recently that God would send some because I’m trying to plant my vegetables and the ground is just too hard. Now I just need to wait for it to dry out just a bit before I go out there. Congratulations on the KDP. Is that Amazon Kindle? I’m looking to self publish too. Much success to you. God bless.
