Day 124 – Deliverance
Psalm 25:1 (A Psalm of David.) To You, O JEHOVAH, I lift my soul. 2 O my Elohiym, I trust in You; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies’ triumph over me. 3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. 4 Show me Your ways, O JEHOVAH; teach me Your paths. 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the Elohiym of my salvation; on You I wait throughout the day. 6 Remember, O JEHOVAH, Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses, for they are from of old. 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Your mercy remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O JEHOVAH.
8 Good and upright is JEHOVAH; therefore, He teaches sinners in the way. 9 The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. 10 The paths of JEHOVAH are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. 11 For Your name’s sake, O JEHOVAH, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. 12 Who is the man that fears JEHOVAH? Him will He teach in the way He chooses. 13 He himself will dwell in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the earth. 14 The secret of JEHOVAH is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.
15 My eyes are ever toward JEHOVAH, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. 16 Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted. 17 The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distress! 18 Look at my affliction and my pain and forgive my sins. 19 Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. 20 Keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. 21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You. 22 Redeem Israel, O Elohiym, out of their troubles!

How often have you been in trouble and you wanted someone to rescue you and look kindly at you?
David faced trouble from his enemies throughout his reign as king of Israel. His constant prayer was for JEHOVAH to rescue him and take vengeance on his enemies. He didn’t plead with JEHOVAH, however, he showed just cause why Elohiym should help him, because he trusted in Him. David also showed JEHOVAH he knew His character and His reputation for helping those in need.
When you pray to Yeshuwa, do you ask for help because you know His character?
Paul gave a list of Yeshuwa’s character, many of which are seen in this psalm.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Pneuma is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
When you know both Yeshuwa’s name and His character, you can pray with authority, and He will answer you according to His will for your life.
David faced untold troubles from his enemies. He always prayed for Elohiym to deliver him, rescue him from every trouble he faced, and take vengeance on his enemies.
You can do the same. Satan is your enemy. He attacks ruthlessly to cause you to forget to pray and turn away from Yeshuwa. You know your enemy will not stop and neither should you stop praying for Yeshuwa to guide you in His truth and show you, His mercy. His promises are yes and amen to everyone who calls on Him.
Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (NKJV)
Throughout Scripture, Elohiym tells you to call on Him, pray, seek His face, and He will answer you. His only requirement is to trust Him and live in obedience to Him.
In a world where you were taught to take care of your own problems and needs, it’s hard to trust someone else to help you. It’s hard to ask someone to come to your aid. Yet when you put your faith and trust in Yeshuwa, He will help you. He will guide you to those who will help you in your time of need. He will even bring people to you right when you need them.
What troubles do you face? Give them over to Yeshuwa and watch Him take care of you. Trust Him. He will never let you down.
Let’s pray: Father, too often I try to take care of my problems instead of reaching out to You for help. Help me rely on You and Your strength and not mine. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I realized today I got the number of the day wrong. Which is why the day number might seem wrong. Have a blessed day.
