Good afternoon from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 57 F and warming up over the next few days. It is spring. It’s to be expected.

Today has been different, but still a good day to give thanks even when the mind received a shock. Yes, my friend who said she wasn’t going to get another dog, got another one yesterday. I told her what I thought about that move, how the dog is likely going to outlive her. However, Sadie is a beautiful lab mix, tan dog. She needs to learn some manners, but on the whole, she’s well-behaved.

So, after that shock and meeting Sadie, I am thankful I could talk to my friend and she didn’t get angry with me but accepted my frankness and fully understood my concerns as they are hers too. However, one look at Sadie and there’s no way she was staying at the Humane Society.

I’m thankful for the walk I got on the trail. I walked two sections of it and have well over 8000 steps.

Google has been telling me my storage is almost full. I couldn’t figure out what I still needed to delete as I got rid of every conversation, emptied spam and trash and still had 89% full. Then I found the culprit. All the photos on my phone. I started deleting them this morning and have it down to 55% full. What I didn’t realize was that in deleting them from photos, I was deleting them from my phone. I’m thankful I still have all those photos on my hard drive. Time to get the Canon out and use it again.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm today. It’s coming along, paragraph by paragraph.

I’m thankful for all of you and the posts I read today. Thanks for the inspiration.

Okay, that’s my day. I’m getting off the computer and I’m going to immerse myself in mindless television. And if by any chance I watch something that turns into research for Firestorm, so much the better.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
