Yesterday, we talked about our collections. Today the question is related as it talks about what we value most, what is my most precious possession.
I could say my most precious possessions are my children and family. Children and family aren’t my possessions. They don’t belong to me just because I birthed them. No, I only had them in my home for a few years before they left to live their own lives.
My most precious possession isn’t found in stuff. I could get rid of all of it today without a backward glance. However, the most precious possession I have can’t be bought in a store, or placed with honor on a shelf. My most precious possession is the talent God gave me to write. It’s my imagination. With it I crafted many books and stories still to publish. In the picture you see nine books I published. However, without God’s help in writing them, they would never have seen the light of day. I can’t write a single word without God’s help and I don’t want to. He gave me an imagination and I intend to use it to His glory, not mine.
What is your most precious possession? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
