Good afternoon from sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. My computer says 69 F but I bet it’s warmer, not much warmer, but it felt like it coming home from Bible study and as I walked the trail.

So, what am I thankful for today?

I’m thankful for my sanity. My neighbor knocked this morning frustrated with her phone. I needed to calm her down so I could think how to help her. She has an iPhone and and I have an Android. The two don’t mix. If I ever get an iPhone, I’ll know how to use it. Anyway, I got it taken care of and sent her on her way, only to have her return saying I gave her the wrong phone number. She doesn’t have a computer. I told her I would take care of it this afternoon, then made my breakfast. Then I took a breath, got the right number, the one I gave her was the fax number and took it over to her. I only needed to calm down and process everything in the necessary order. My computer wasn’t cooperative through it all. However, I’m thankful I got it taken care of and we were both happy.

I’m thankful for Bible study this morning. The book we’re studying is phenomenal. The Awe of God by John Bevere.

I’m thankful for the walk on the trail after I got home from Bible study. I took pictures of turtles. Hopefully, you can find all five of them in this picture.

I’m thankful for relaxing Christian music as I try to work out the character development of my antagonist so I can move forward with Firestorm. It will come together. It always does.

I’m thankful for food. My fridge is getting emptier as the end of the month comes close. I still have a lot of eggs and fish in the freezer. I also have bananas and apples. I won’t starve. I’ve been going through a mental list for next month’s groceries. If push comes to shove, I’ll go to the store. I’m trying not to spend too much more before the end of the month.

Okay, that’s my day. Getting off the computer now and will take in some mindless television for the rest of the night.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The images belong to me.
