Good afternoon from warm, sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Right now, it’s 83 F. Alexa told me it would get to 80 F. The radio said 85 F, and my hair stylist said 83 F. It’s warm! There’s rain in the forecast for tomorrow.

It’s been a busy and good day.

We left for the Social Security office this morning at 9 AM. My neighbor waited almost two hours before they called her number. It’s Monday, the office was packed. I’m thankful we got out of there when we did.

Our next stop was the audiologist to get my hearing aids working properly. Only one registered on my phone. He also gave me new cleaners as I lost the ones he gave me. Now, I’ll find them. I’m very thankful my hearing aids are working properly once again.

Our next stop was A&W for something to eat before my hair appointment. Fast food costs too much, but we needed to eat and we wouldn’t be home for several hours yet.

Then it was off to the hair salon. I’m thankful my hair looks decent again.

When we left there, we went to Hy-Vee and grocery shopping. My neighbor said I bought out the store. I expected to spend a lot. I used the entire amount on my UCard and most of what I had left in my checking account. Tomorrow is payday. I’m so thankful to have food again. My fridge and freezer are looking good. I’m not finished. We’re going to Costco on Thursday. I expect to spend about the same as I did today.

I finished off the day with a walk around the complex. I have all my steps, but I still need the rest of my heart points. I’ll use the foot cycle while I watch television.

That’s been my day. A busy but good one. Tomorrow is Bible study and Writer’s Guild, so I won’t be here very much. But I’ll be here as much as I can.
