Day 135 – Light
Psalm 36:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of JEHOVAH.) An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of Elohiym before his eyes. 2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, when he finds out his iniquity and when he hates. 3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he ceased to be wise and to do good. 4 He devises wickedness on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not abhor evil.
5 Your mercy, O JEHOVAH, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches the clouds. 6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O JEHOVAH, You preserve man and beast. 7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O Elohiym! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. 8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. 9 For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. 10 Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. 11 Let not the foot of pride come against me and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away. 12 There the workers of iniquity fell; they were cast down and cannot rise.

Media has shown wickedness in all its glory. Yet, you don’t need to watch it on television or in movies to see it walking among you. It’s found on the playground, in workplaces, wherever people live, work, and play.
David recounted what wicked people were like and that they didn’t even fear Elohiym. He also showed the lovingkindness and faithfulness of JEHOVAH in how He took care of His children.
As children of Yeshuwa, You belong to Him and He cares for you. Everyday, He shows you His faithfulness, lovingkindness, mercy, and provides everything you need for your life. When you fear, stand in awe of Him, trust Him, and live in obedience to Him, nothing will come against you. Yeshuwa is the light of your salvation.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with Theos, and the Logos was Theos. 2 He was in the beginning with Theos. 3 Everything was made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6 There was a man sent from Theos, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that everyone through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 However, as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of Theos, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Theos. 14 The Logos became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Pater, full of grace and truth.
John 8:12 Then Iesous spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
Yeshuwa’s light lives in you. His light fights the darkness Satan brings against you. Wickedness and light cannot occupy the same place. Therefore, Satan must flee. Yeshuwa will bring judgment against wickedness wherever it is found, and you will rejoice in His light and salvation.
What trouble has Satan brought against you? Stand in Yeshuwa’s salvation and watch Him fight for you, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for sending Your Son as the Light of the world. Thank you for bringing His light into my life. Help me live in faith, trusting You as He defeats Satan and causes him to flee from me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
