Day 144 – Wedding Day

Psalm 45:1 (To the Chief Musician. Set to “The Lillies.” A Contemplation of the sons of Korah. A Song of Love.) My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the Melek; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. 2 You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips; therefore, Elohiym blessed You forever. 3 Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Gibbowr One, with Your glory and Your majesty. 4 In Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; and Your right hand will teach You awesome things. 5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the Melek’s enemies; the people fall under You.

6 Your throne, O Elohiym, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. 7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore, Elohiym, Your Elohiym, anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions. 8 Your garments are scented with myrrh, aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they made You glad.

9 Kings’ daughters are among Your honorable women; at Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.

10 Listen, O daughter, consider and incline your ear; forget your people also, and your father’s house; 11 so the Melek will greatly desire your beauty; because He is your Adown, worship Him. 12 The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; the rich among the people will seek your favor. 13 The royal daughter is glorious within the palace; her clothing is woven with gold. 14 She will be brought to the Melek in robes of many colors; the virgins, her companions who follow her, will be brought to You. 15 With gladness and rejoicing they will be brought; they will enter the Melek’s palace. 16 Instead of Your fathers will be Your sons, whom You will make princes throughout the earth. 17 I will make Your name to be remembered in every generation; therefore, the people will praise You forever and ever.

Everyone loves weddings. Royal weddings are broadcast to the world so everyone can see the union between the bride and groom. They attend and watch because they want to see the bride and her gown and see the man she marries.

The sons of Korah wrote about the future wedding of the Bridegroom, Yeshuwa, and His bride, the church of Yeshuwa Christos.

Mark 2:19 Iesous said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. 20 However, the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.

Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Arnion has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8 To her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, you became the bride of Christos. Everything you do for Him brings Him glory and clothes you in robes of righteousness. When He sees you, He rejoices in you because of your faithfulness to Him.

Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, but the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christos, and individually members of one another.

Your gifts and talents clothe you in righteousness in the body of Christos.

Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor, giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your opinion. 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with everyone. 19 Beloved do not avenge yourselves but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Kurios. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

These are your ornaments of righteousness Yeshuwa will see at the marriage of the Arnion.

Are you clothed in righteousness? Do you labor in love for the kingdom of Theos? If so, then not only will Yeshuwa see your righteousness, but so will everyone who sees you.

Your wedding day is approaching. Let everything you do be seen in the beauty of the gown you wear on your wedding day.

Let’s pray: Father, let everything I do be for Your glory and the glory of Your Son. Let my work praise You in the beauty of Your holiness. Let me bring Your Son glory and honor when I come to Him clothed in righteousness as His bride. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
