Day 147 – Praise
Psalm 48:1 (A Song. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.) Great is JEHOVAH, and greatly to be praised in the city of our Elohiym, in His holy mountain. 2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great Melek. 3 Elohiym is in her palaces; He is known as her refuge. 4 For behold, the kings assembled, they passed by together. 5 They saw it, and so they marveled; they were troubled, they hastened away. 6 Fear took hold of them there, and pain, as of a woman in birth pangs, 7 as when You break the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
8 As we heard, so we saw in the city of JEHOVAH of hosts, in the city of our Elohiym: Elohiym will establish it forever. Selah 9 We thought, O Elohiym, on Your lovingkindness, in the middle of Your temple. 10 According to Your name, O Elohiym, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness. 11 Let Mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of Your judgments. 12 Walk about Zion and go around her. Count her towers; 13 mark well her bulwarks; consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the following generation. 14 For this is Elohiym, our Elohiym forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death.

What makes you glad? What makes you want to sing songs of praise?
The sons of Korah rejoiced because Jerusalem was the most beautiful city, the city established by JEHOVAH, glorious in every way. Every thought about her brought joy and praise to their lips.
As Christians, do you rejoice and sing songs of praise when you think about Jerusalem? Do you pray for her and her people? Do you think about everything Elohiym did for His people and continues to do for them?
Jerusalem is the joy of the entire earth. One day Yeshuwa will return with a shout, and everyone will know and see Him and know His judgments. They will rejoice because He alone is Melek over the earth and He will reign in glory and splendor.
Rejoice today and give Yeshuwa praise for He alone will rule the nations. Let your joy fill you with gladness in His presence.
Let’s pray: Father, I give You praise. Let my praise fill Your tabernacle as I rejoice in everything You do for me and Your lovingkindness toward me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
