Good evening from warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s currently 76 F, but got to 80 F. A light breeze was the saving grace when I walked the trail today.

I’m thankful for walking the trail today. I walked two sections and paid attention to the level of water both in the pond and in the trail creek. Both are very low.

Here you can see how low the pond is. Usually there is water coming from the corner culvert, and the water is as high as the ridge around the pond. It’s all mud now. The geese haven’t been there in days. We need rain. Thankfully, there’s some in the forecast this week. I hope it will be enough to raise the water levels.

I’m thankful for spending time here today and reading some great posts. You’re all talented.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm, including the movie to help get the juices flowing. Some of those asteroid/meteor movies are so far-fetched they’re just unbelievable. However, they’re salted with enough realistic information about a what-if situation.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The images belong to me.
