Day 157 – Judge

Psalm 58:1 (To the Chief Musician. Set to “Do Not Destroy.” A Michtam of David.) Do you indeed speak righteousness, you silent ones? Do you judge uprightly, you sons of men? 2 No, in your heart you work wickedness; you weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth. 3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies. 4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent; they are like the deaf cobra that stops its ear, 5 which will not heed the voice of charmers, charming ever so skillfully.

 6 Break their teeth in their mouth, O Elohiym! Break out the fangs of the young lions, O JEHOVAH! 7 Let them flow away as waters which run continually; when he bends his bow, let his arrows be as if cut in pieces. 8 Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes, like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun. 9 Before your pots can feel the burning thorns, He will take them away as with a whirlwind, as in His living and burning wrath. 10 The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked, 11 so that men will say, “There is a reward for the righteous; He is Elohiym who judges in the earth.”

Theos – Supreme Divinity

KURIOS – Supreme Authority

Pantokrator – All-ruling, Omnipotent, Almighty

BASILEUS – Sovereign, King

Logos – Divine expression, Word

You only need to watch the news for a few minutes to know wickedness rules the earth like a plague. You wonder what happened to justice when you see and hear about evil men walking free.

David saw how wicked people were and asked Elohiym to bring His justice to them. He knew when JEHOVAH brought His justice, then those who trusted Elohiym would rejoice.

As Christians, you know Satan rules the earth as the prince and power of the air.

Ephesians 2:1 You He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

You also know Yeshuwa will bring justice when He returns to rule as KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS and Satan finds himself in the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity.

Revelation 19:11 I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Logos of Theos. 14 The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Pantokrator Theos. 16 He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: BASILEUS OF BASILEUS AND KURIOS OF KURIOS. 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great Theos, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of people, free and slave, both small and great.” 19 I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 The rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. The birds were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

When you see evil men go free, you know Yeshuwa will bring final judgment to them when they face Him in eternity. Until then, you can pray as David did for Yeshuwa to bring His justice to them.

Let’s pray: Father, every day, I see and hear about the wickedness running rampant in the earth. Bring Your justice Lord and let me rejoice to see Your vengeance on the wicked. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
