Everyone has habits. Hopefully they’re good habits.
How I start my day matters.

Every morning I start with Bible study. Sometimes it takes a short time, sometimes a bit longer. Every study is done with the Holy Spirit. I don’t take credit for my Bible studies.
When I finish with my Bible study I try to get out to the trail. The weather is the all-important factor here. I prefer the trail and reserve the hallways for those days when the weather is unfavorable – too hot, too cold, rain. Above is part of the wooded section of the trail. I don’t walk this section every day. Especially not in summer when the mosquitoes are out in force on this part of the trail.
Home from the trail, it’s time for breakfast. I never skip breakfast. I eat eggs or oatmeal. I have a banana every day. I also take my medication at the time I eat breakfast so I don’t forget.
Then it’s time to work on the computer. I start here with WordPress and then work on a book.
Depending on how everything works together, I try to get off the computer by 3 PM. It’s rare. Lately it’s been after 5 PM before I’m off the computer. Then it’s time to relax and enjoy TV time until bedtime.
My day starts between 4 AM and 6 AM and ends between 8:30 PM and 10 PM.
Other habits I foster are Bible study away from home, rock painting, and church. Packing all this into one day could be a problem if I did everything every day. I don’t, so my life is well balanced and productive.
What habits do you enjoy every day? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The images belong to me.
