Have you ever had surgery? What for?

I have had many surgeries in my life. My first was when I was five years old. I had my tonsils removed.

As an adult, I had a therapeutic abortion: my life or the baby’s. I almost died. Later, I had surgery because I had a tubal pregnancy. Again, I almost died.

My non-life threatening surgeries included knee replacements, both knees in 2020. Cataract surgery in 2020. On another occasion, I also had my appendix removed, fixed a hernia, and had my tubes fixed again at the same time. On another occasion, I had broken a piece of bone off my elbow, they needed to remove it. They tried to put a pin in it, but couldn’t, so they removed the small piece of bone.
