Day 163 – Deliverance

Psalm 64:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.) Hear my voice, O Elohiym, in my meditation; preserve my life from fear of the enemy. 2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the rebellion of the workers of iniquity, 3 who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows—bitter words, 4 that they may shoot in secret at the blameless; they shoot at him and do not fear. 5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter; they talk of laying snares; they say, “Who will see them?” 6 They devise iniquities, “We perfected a shrewd scheme.” Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.

7 However, Elohiym will shoot at them with an arrow; they will be wounded. 8 Then He will make them stumble over their tongue; everyone who sees them will flee away. 9 Men will fear and will declare the work of Elohiym; for they will consider His doing. 10 The righteous will be glad in JEHOVAH, and trust in Him. The upright in heart will glory.

Refuge

Where do you turn when your life looks chaotic, when people come against everything you do?

David turned every situation over to Elohiym. He knew he could trust Him to take care of his enemies.

As Christians, you committed yourself into Yeshuwa’s hands. Do you look to Yeshuwa when Satan comes against you with lies and evil intentions? Do you hide yourself in Him like David did? Or do you try to work things out yourself?

Too often Christians believe they can handle the small stuff and leave the big stuff to Yeshuwa, not realizing, they need His help in every situation. There are no small situations with Yeshuwa. They are alike with one common denominator—Satan.

When David’s enemies came against him, he prayed. He asked Elohiym for deliverance. When Satan comes against you, do you pray? Can Yeshuwa hear your prayers in the throne room of heaven?

David had cause to rejoice in JEHOVAH because he knew He would deliver him from his enemies. Elohiym would bring His judgment against his enemies because David’s enemies were Elohiym’s enemies.

Your enemy, Satan, is Yeshuwa’s enemy. When he comes against you, you need to pray, seek Yeshuwa’s face and put everything in His hands. Then watch Him take care of your situation far better than you can by yourself.

What troubles do you face? Health concerns, financial, work, conflicts with the people you live with or the place where you live? For every problem you face, Yeshuwa is the answer. Take your situation to Him and watch Him take care of it for you.

Let’s pray: Father, You alone know the troubles facing me. You know the doubt and fear that plague my heart and mind. I place everything Satan brought against me into Your hands. Deliver me from his evil intentions and let me see Your justice in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
