Happy Fourth of July to all my friends in the United States. It’s a warm one. I can see Alexa lied again. It was only supposed to get to 87 F. It’s 91 F on the computer and feels like it outside too. And humid. We had rain this morning. I doubt we’ll get more tonight. It’ll be good for the fireworks downtown.

Okay. Today has been eventful. I’m thankful I left for the trail when I did. My friend called me. She had fallen near the pond in the field. Sadie got away from her, but she came back. I got to her in five minutes. I called the paramedics and took Sadie home. She has a broken shoulder. I’m thankful I could be there for her along with my next door neighbor. We picked her up and then went to get her medication for pain.

I’m thankful I got the grill going. I am not a grill master. Maybe after today. It took several tries before I saw the lighter fluid and got the grill going. I have baked potatoes with sliced onions on the grill. In a few minutes I’ll be putting the steaks on. I have the asparagus cooking on the stove. We also have strawberry shortcake for dessert. My neighbor also made a jello salad. It should all be good. We’ll finish off the night with fireworks.

I’m thankful for all the steps I got today. I’m over 10,000 steps with everything I did today. No time for writing today. However, I did read your posts and enjoyed them very much.
