Day 169 – Deliverance

Psalm 70:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. To bring to remembrance.) Make haste, O Elohiym, to deliver me! Make haste to help me, O JEHOVAH! 2 Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek my life; let them be turned back and confused who desire my hurt. 3 Let them be turned back because of their shame, who say, “Aha, aha!” 4 Let those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; and let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let Elohiym be magnified!” 5 However, I am poor and needy; make haste to me, O Elohiym! You are my help and my deliverer; O JEHOVAH, do not delay.

God’s names:

Elohiym – Supreme God

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Yeshuwa – Jesus

God’s character:

Help

Deliverer

Salvation

When life takes a turn, you want vindication for those who came against you.

David asked Elohiym to bring justice to those who desired his hurt. However, he would rejoice in his salvation because JEHOVAH was his help and deliverer.

As Christians, you know Satan is your number one enemy. He will do everything he can to destroy you. However, when you do as David did, pray and seek Yeshuwa’s face, He will fight your battles and cause Satan to flee from you. Then those you will know Yeshuwa’s continued salvation because He is your help and deliverer.

What problems do you face right now? Pray, seek Yeshuwa’s face and watch Him turn your trouble into nothing as He causes Satan to flee from you.

Let’s pray: Father, let me see the wicked removed from my life as I trust in You as David did. Let me praise You for bringing about Your victory in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
