Day 182 – Justice

Psalm 83:1 (A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.) Do not keep silent, O Elohiym! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O El! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You lifted their head. 3 They took crafty counsel against Your people and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” 5 For they consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You: 6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; 7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assyria also joined with them; they helped the children of Lot. Selah

9 Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, 10 who perished at En Dor, who became as refuse on the earth. 11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yes, their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, 12 who said, “Let us take for ourselves the pastures of Elohiym for a possession.” 13 O my Elohiym, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind! 14 As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, 15 so pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O JEHOVAH. 17 Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish, 18 that they may know that You, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are Elyown over the earth.

God’s character:

Supreme

Have you wanted to see justice for those who bullied you and those you love. Have you planned what you would do if you could get away with it?

Asaph went to Elohiym and pleaded with Him to take vengeance against the nations who came against Israel. He specifically asked for JEHOVAH to destroy her enemies.

Do you know you can ask Yeshuwa to help you against those who come against you? You don’t need to let Satan have power and authority over you. You have the mind and authority of Yeshuwa Christos to come against him. Take a stand. Tell Yeshuwa what you want Him to do for you. Get specific. It isn’t wrong to ask Yeshuwa to defend you against your enemies. They are His enemies too. Let Him know you won’t allow Satan to bully you and harm you ever again. You have the power and authority in the name of Yeshuwa.

Do you feel Satan closing in on you? Do you feel like you have nowhere to run for help? Has Satan bullied you so much that you’re afraid to ask for help. He wants you to feel impotent. Stand up and declare Yeshuwa’s name and ask for His help. You have the right. Use it!

Asaph wasn’t the only one to ask Elohiym to come against Israel’s enemies. David and the prophets did too. They didn’t pull any punches. They were specific in what they wanted JEHOVAH to do for them. They knew He was the only one who could help them. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Yeshuwa waits for you to ask Him. Call on His name today and watch Him destroy Satan’s plans against you.

Let’s pray: Father, You said I could pray to You and You would help me when Satan comes against me. Take my fear away from me and let me be bold in asking for help. I am Your child. You gave me power and authority over Satan. I put him on notice that he cannot harm me or my loved ones anymore. Fight for me. Defend me, and I will praise You for everything You do for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
