There are times like right now when it seems too quiet in the apartment and I want something to listen to. However, when I’m working, writing, I need it quiet, so music is out of the question. It can get very noisy in my head while I’m working and music becomes distracting as I want to sing along. It’s very hard for me to write when my focus is on the music.
However, when I’m doing other things besides writing, then I ask Alexa to play Christian music. Then I don’t mind singing along. I’m not doing anything that needs my entire focus. Music helps make house chores easy and shortens up the time it takes to get them done. It makes life more pleasant. Just not while I’m writing.
